UP Alentejo is a brand of Emotion Sports – Desporto Natureza e Turismo Activo, Lda, headquartered at Rua de Santa Bárbara nº 02, 7780-350 Entradas, Castro Verde, with a share capital of EUR 12,470.00 (as of the date), VAT number 507 787 218, RNAAT 15/2007, and RNAVT 3570.
The organization of the activities and/or programs listed on the website is the responsibility of Emotion Sports – Desporto Natureza e Turismo Activo.

Proposal Validity

Any activity and/or package proposal, including prices, locations, and other information, is only valid for the date specified in the service proposal.

Activity Location

Activities will be held at the location defined in the sent proposal.

Price

All prices include VAT at the applicable rate.

Service Description

The description of each service on our website (www.upalentejo.pt) and in the customized proposals sent to clients is brief but as clear as possible. However, the content and format of the services may be subject to slight changes, depending on the season and weather conditions. Any changes will be communicated at the time your reservation is confirmed.

Duration

The duration of each activity is approximate and indicative.

Booking

The available activities and services are organized, conducted, and produced by Emotion Sports.
By contracting with “Emotion Sports” – through completion and submission of a service reservation confirmation (via Emotion Sports staff, phone, email, or social media) – you are purchasing the requested service, against payment of the respective price.
By validating the reservation, the client commits to paying for the service in full, according to the conditions outlined in the proposal under “General Conditions” and “Specific Conditions.”

Refunds and Cancellations

We refund all reservations canceled up to 28 days before the scheduled date, subject to a 15% administrative fee, with a minimum of €20.
Refunds are always made to the entity or person who booked the service, unless otherwise specified.
Once a reservation is made, cancellation costs may apply in case of no-show.
You may also lose the reservation if agreed payment deadlines are not met.
Cancellation policies may vary depending on the service.
In the event a service must be canceled due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. weather conditions), we will notify you as soon as possible and make every effort to offer an alternative date that suits you.

Weather Conditions

The hot air balloon activity depends on weather conditions.
If an activity is canceled due to weather, a new reservation will be offered, subject to conditions on the new date.
If the client does not wish to reschedule, the amount paid will be refunded minus the reservation and cancellation fees. Clients with vouchers acquired either by themselves or third parties will be offered a new date subject to availability and are non-refundable.

Accommodation

Reservations for services including accommodation are subject to the booking conditions of the respective lodging providers.
Room/apartment types, occupancy, check-in/out times, and other accommodation-related details will be outlined in the specific conditions of each proposal and will be valid upon the client’s acceptance.

Transportation

Itineraries included in programs are indicative and may be subject to change.
Transportation is not included in our services unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Photographs

Photographs shown on our website (www.emotionportugal.com) related to locations, vehicles, fauna, flora, etc., are illustrative and are not contractually binding.

Restrictions

Some activities may require that participants meet specific conditions, such as minimum age, physical health, or other requirements. Where possible, such restrictions will be indicated in the proposal and clients are advised to read them carefully.
Emotion Sports – Desporto Natureza e Turismo Activo, Lda is not responsible for personal or material damage resulting from the acceptance of risks inherent to each activity, lack of proper physical fitness, alcohol consumption, equipment misuse, lack of access to medical care or rescue services in remote areas, or adequacy of the medical care provided.

Disabilities

Most of our activities can be enjoyed by people with disabilities (although some may be physically demanding). We strive to ensure that all clients with limitations can participate in our activities. To do so, we ask that any limitations be disclosed when contacting our staff, so we can make appropriate arrangements.

Illness or Mechanical Failure

When our activities involve motor vehicles or specific individuals (celebrities, public figures), we reserve the right to make reasonable substitutions on the event day in case of vehicle failure or illness.
If substitution is not feasible or cost-effective, the experience will be canceled with as much notice as possible.

Insurance

Emotion Sports – Desporto Natureza e Turismo Activo, Lda’s liability for the activities and/or programs we provide is covered by personal accident and civil liability insurance through Liberty Seguros and Allianz.

• Civil Liability Insurance: Covers property and non-property damage to third parties and clients that may be attributed to us in the exercise of our activity.
  • €20,000 in case of death or total and permanent disability.
• Personal Accident Insurance: All participants must be covered by personal accident insurance activated on behalf of the client.
  • €3,500 for medical expenses.

Additional Information

Despite the careful selection of our services and locations, we cannot guarantee 100% safety, due to the nature of the adventure tourism activities we provide.
We reserve the right to make changes to itineraries or accommodation to improve program quality or ensure participant comfort and well-being.
